The Help File that is bundled with the software and accessible through the RD interface to users is primarily written for instructors who are using the system to manage their course materials. It is a series of static HTML pages that lead users through the different tabs and screens and how to use them.

The appearance of the Help File is controlled through the style sheet and is comopletely customizable. The default installation has two tabs: a "Topics" tab with the text instructions and a "Tutorials" tab with links to video tutorials. These tutorials were made with the Emory Libraries installation of ReservesDirect. You may use these videos if you wish, but you may want to generate your own tutorials that are customized for your own institution. You (or your system administrator) can find the original HTML files in the software package (in the /help directory). You can place whatever HTML pages you wish in this directory for users to access.
