The following features are planned but have not yet been assigned to a development cycle.

• Abstract physical item integration for other ILSs–rewrite of the physical item integration code to allow other institutions with a different ILSs (e.g., Sirsi, Endeavor, Innovative, VTLS, etc.) to more easily integrate ReservesDirect with their catalog.
• Online web form to email instructors–in a class, clicking on the instructor’s name opens a web browser email form to email the instructor, instead of launching an external mail client
• RSS for students–provides an RSS feed of links to readings for a class that a student is enrolled in. Students will be asked to authenticate with user name and password before they can actually view the document.
